Clare is an experienced CIMA qualified Accountant and completed a degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Birmingham before proceeding to complete her finance qualification via the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Clare has extensive experience in FMCG and Multinational organisations, having held Financial Planning, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting roles. Clare qualified whilst working at Gillette (UK) Limited and was then responsible for all financial advice for fundraising within Macmillan Cancer Relief.

She then joined Compass Group working within Group Accounting before being promoted to Reporting Manager and then Financial Controller for the vending division, Selecta Group. Clare joined British Telecom in their Global Services Division where she was responsible for process improvements and systems implementations.

Clare joined Metrion in October 2018 as Financial Controller adding Company Secretary to her responsibilities. She was then further promoted to Director of Finance and Company Secretary before then being promoted to Chief Financial Officer in January 2024.
