On Helix Digital 2021

Metrion Biosciences’ Business Development Executive Anca Haralambie will be attending On Helix Digital 2021 which takes place on 5th and 6th July.

On Helix is the One Nucleus flagship conference, bringing together professionals within the One Nucleus network to present and discuss the main innovation and technology trends in healthcare research and development.

Throughout the one and a half days of ON Helix, speakers will address the latest innovations and technologies in Medicines Discovery in a Brave New World.

Translating Ideas into Therapies 2021

Metrion’s Sales and Marketing Manager Dr Sophie Rose and Business Development Executive Anca Haralambie will be attending “Translating Ideas into Therapies 2021”, Co-hosted by ELRIG and the British Pharmacological Society. The event takes place between Wednesday, 30th June 2021 and Thursday, 1st July 2021 and will be held virtually.

First Metrion Webinar – “Discovery of KNa1.1 channel inhibitors using virtual screening and CryoEM structures”

Metrion Biosciences is pleased to announce it will be hosting a brand new webinar series starting on Tuesday 29th June at 14:00 BST.

The first Speaker in the webinar series will be Dr Jon Lippiat from the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds.

Jon will present on the topic: “Discovery of KNa1.1 channel inhibitors using virtual screening and CryoEM structures”

Saniona Research and Development Day

Saniona are hosting a virtual R&D day, taking place on Thursday 20th May at 17.00 CEST/ 11am EDT. This event will be attended by Dr Sophie Rose, Metrion’s Sales and Marketing Manager and Anca Haralambie, Business Development Executive.

The event will focus primarily on Saniona’s ion channel drug discovery programmes and early-stage pipeline.

Nanion Technologies Research Ins]i[ghts Cardiac Safety Symposium 2021

Metrion Biosciences’ Sales and Marketing Manager Dr Sophie Rose and Business Development Executive Dr Anca Haralambie will be attending the Nanion Technologies Research Insights Cardiac Safety Symposium taking place on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th May 2021 on Hopin.

This 2-day interactive online event is focused on Current Challenges in Safety Pharmacology and Cardiac Physiology, in-silico modelling and Best Practices and Evolvements of Safety Pharmacology Methods.

CPhI Discover

Metrion Biosciences’ Business Development Executive Anca Haralambie will be attending the Virtual CPhI Discover event taking place from 17th to 28th May 2021.

CPhI Discover will be an online event to provide pharmaceutical professionals a way to meet, discuss, partner, source and learn online.

Week 1 (Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th May) features 3 days of scientific content, whilst week 2 features 5 days of online networking.

Nordic Life Science Days Digital 2021

CRISPR in Drug Discovery – ELRIG virtual event

Metrion’s Sales and Marketing Manager Dr Sophie Rose and Business Development Executive Anca Haralambie will be attending the third CRISPR in Drug Discovery: From Targets to Therapeutics meeting hosted by ELRIG, to be held on 23rd and 24th March 2021 as a virtual event. The event will focus on the application of genome engineering.

One Nucleus Webinar – “Collaborating to Support Biotech and MedTech Business”

Metrion’s Sales and Marketing Manager Dr Sophie Rose is attending the One Nucleus collaborative event with Medilink Midlands on “Collaborating to Support Biotech and Med Tech Business Across Our Neighbouring Regions” on March 2nd at 10-11am. The event is focused on how our two respective groups can collaborate more to support One Nucleus members.

Biophysical Society Annual Meeting 2021

February 22nd, 2021 @ 8:00 am – February 26th, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

Metrion Biosciences will be attending the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting to be hosted virtually from 22nd to 26th February 2021. Metrion will be presenting two posters and taking part in the virtual exhibition at the event.

Ion Channels in Drug Discovery XXII Virtual Meeting

February 18th, 2021 @ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Metrion is co-organising and attending the ‘Drug Discovery for Ion Channels XXII’ Virtual satellite meeting. This is a collaborative meeting, organised alongside partners Nanion, Sophion, Fluxion and SB Drug Discovery.

The final line-up of Speakers will be confirmed very shortly.

The event will start at 8AM PST / 5PM CET, with exact timimgs of specific talks to be confirmed.

Genesis Digital 2020

Nanion User Meeting Virtual Event 2020

Metrion Biosciences are attending the Virtual Nanion User Meeting to be held on 12th to 16th October 2020. Metrion’s CSO Dr Marc Rogers will be presenting a talk at the event on 14th October entitled: Development and validation of ASIC1a ligand-gated ion channel drug discovery assays on automated patch clamp platforms.

Metrion will also be presenting a poster.

64th Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society

February 15th, 2020 @ 8:00 am – February 19th, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

Metrion Biosciences will be attending and exhibiting at the 64th Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society to be held at the San Diego Convention Centre in San Diego, California from 15th – 19th February 2020. Metrion will be exhibiting at booth number 214 in the Exhibits Hall for the duration of the meeting.

ELRIG Drug Discovery 2019

November 5th, 2019 @ 8:00 am – November 6th, 2019 @ 5:00 pm

Metrion Biosciences will be attending ELRIG Drug Discovery 2019 to be held at the ACC Arena, Liverpool on 5th and 6th November 2019. Dr Marc Rogers, Chief Scientific Officer, will be presenting an ion channel drug discovery focused talk at 12.10-12.30 during the British Pharmacology Society track ‘Targeting Ion Channels for Drug Discovery”.

BioWednesday Cambridge: Joint One Nucleus and BioMed Realty Autumn Social

Sales and Marketing Manager Dr Sophie Rose will be attending the joint One Nucleus and BioMed Realty social event to be held at Granta Park at the Apiary on 16th October 2019. Sophie will be available during the networking reception to discuss Metrion’s range of ion channel screening services.

Sophion Bioscience Japanese User Meeting 2019

Dr Edward Humphries will be presenting at the Sophion Japanese User meeting on Friday 11th October to be held at the Knowledge Capital Conference Rooms at the Grand Front, Osaka. Edd’s talk is entitled: “Advancing Cardiac Safety Screening on the QPatch” Edd will be at the User meeting all day.

BioForward 2019

October 11th, 2019 @ 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

Metrion Biosciences’ Sales and Marketing Manager, Dr Sophie Rose will be attending BioForward on Friday 11th October to be held at the Aston Webb Building at the University of Birmingham. Sophie will be attending the presentations and networking sessions and will be available during the day for meetings to discuss Metrion’s range of ion channel services.
